We're moving in one day. My sisters have been writing about the ends. I want to write about the beginnings. Your life will be happier if you think of it in terms of beginnings instead of endings. There are lots of endings in my life right now, but I want to write about the beginnings.
Here's us eating popsicles on the last day in our house |
Moving is going to be hard, but it will also be a beginning. It will be the beginning of making new friends. It will be the beginning of living in a new house that is close to soccer fields. It's the beginning of sharing a room with Christian - I've wanted to do that for a while.
I always remember the NCAA commercial that says, "It's not an ending. It's a beginning." That's what I'm going to think too.
I also wanted to tell you that we might not always have internet access at the campgrounds. We'll write every day, but we might not be able to post every day. We might post several entries at once. We're going to try to post lots of photos of all the places we go too. This is the second to last blog post here in Massachusetts. My mom figured out (maybe) how to geotag the posts, so at the end of each post, you can see where we are. You can click on that link and see the place on a map. Also, we fixed the blog so you can be a follower now. So just click to the side to follow our blog!
Hi Taylor -- Loved today's post. I agree that new beginnings are a wonderful and exciting thing. Can't wait to see your family and to continue reading about this great adventure.

ReplyDeleteWay to be positive Taylor! I think that is great you are looking forward to sharing a room with your brother. Grant and Trevor enjoy sharing a room too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a positive way to think about this. Lots of good things are waiting for your in Wisconsin.
ReplyDeleteI love the picture of you in front of your little red farm house. You may be leaving it behind, but you will be taking many special memories with you!
